Will assist families that want to participate but cannot afford the fee. Financial Assistance will be awarded to working families that meet our income guidelines and/or can demonstrate a need for fee assistance. Since demand for assistance is great and funds are limited, we encourage parents to apply early. You can complete our prescreen questions while completing your online camp application. Membership types vary depending on your facility usage and household, so it’s best to talk to a Membership staff to find the best one for your family.

However, site requests are subject to availability and the Affiliated Resort reserves the right to change the assigned site. The amount of these dues is subject to increase, in our sole discretion. If you choose to let your membership in the Program lapse by not paying dues within 90 days of any renewal date, you will be charged a $150.00 reinstatement fee in addition to the current amount of dues. We reserve the right to withdraw any Affiliated Resort from the Program at any time and we do not guarantee that any particular Affiliated Resort will always be affiliated with the Program.

A list of the campgrounds and Encore RV resorts currently affiliated with the Program is on the internet at (the “Affiliated Resorts”). Members of La Parole Libérée – a support group for people who had been sexually abused as kids by former Lyon priest, Bernard Preynat – also attended that meeting. Wish my grandkids lived closer, this place would be so exciting for them. We only spent 4+ hours but even a full day won’t be enough. Seeing the rockets and space shuttle were breathtaking.
What We Offered
Children ages 6 to 12 are welcome to join in the fun! Mount Pleasant Athletic Camps are all about team building, staying active, & having fun. We offer a variety of summer camps during June, July, & August for boys and girls of all ages. Sports camps include basketball, baseball, golf, football, lacrosse, track & field, soccer, tennis & more.

Chancellors Day
Five Acre Holiday Camp is located in a small Suffolk village named Wyverstone, only a short drive away from the bustling market town of Bury St Edmunds. We have everything available for anyone looking to enjoy a holiday in the great British countryside, from log cabins to camping pitches and hook-ups – we cater for everyone! We have a day ticket lake available to fish which is fully stocked, equipment hire is also available. We are also only a short walk away from the village of Bacton, which has a small shop and a beautiful pub with great food and real ales.
We will also again be offering the choice of our very popular hot meals. We will once again take all necessary precautions will be taken to make our environment Covid-secure. We will use similar best practices as those which are already proven in our local schools, with regular cleaning, sanitisation of equipment and children kept together in groups. Last year LGL partnered up with both BCP and Dorset councils offering FSM places to pupils at some of our camps. We are very proud to partner with the Jack Sandler Leadership Foundation on scholarships for our Deuces Holiday Camp in 2021. Jack Sandler was an integral part of our camp for 9 years until his passing in November of 2015.
